Stubbs Receives Prestigious Crystal Prism Award
Erie, PA - April 2006 - Altman Hall Associates would like to announce that Colleen Stubbs, Creative Director, was the 2006 recipient of the American Advertising Federation- District Two Crystal Prism Award. Colleen was presented with the Crystal Prism on April 7th at the annual Erie Ad Club ADDY Awards banquet. This award honors her for longstanding dedication and service to the Erie Ad Club, and the promotion of advertising excellence throughout our region. The Crystal Prism award bestows the honor and the gratitude of the Erie Ad Club to an individual whose efforts have contributed to its success. It acknowledges their community contribution, and giving of themselves to further the industry’s standards and to enhance the image of advertising. The Crystal Prism Award is not given out annually, but instead, is awarded only when there is a noteworthy recipient.
Colleen is a 25 year veteran to the advertising industry working on creative for business interests owned by golfing legend, Arnold Palmer and various accounts such as Spectrum Control, Eriez Magnetics, Hoover Vacuums, Dad’s Pet Care and numerous healthcare facilities throughout PA. She exhibited her entrepreneurial bent as she partnered and helped build a 14-person design studio in Latrobe, Pennsylvania called The Art Spectrum.
Colleen has been the Creative Director at Altman-Hall since 1999. She served as the Erie Ad Club President from 2002-2004 and during her two-year term she attained national recognition for club management from the American Advertising Federation. Since completing her term as President, she has been placed on the Executive Board of the American Advertising Federation-District Two. District Two, literally one of the most coveted pieces of advertising geography in the country, is made up of sixteen ad clubs and 5,200 members throughout New York, New Jersey, Pennsylvania, Washington, D.C., Delaware and Maryland. Colleen’s role will be to work closely with District Two’s membership to deal with issues faced within the region and to help coordinate interaction among the clubs.
Colleen resides in Erie with her husband of twenty-seven years, Jeff, their daughters Cassie (15), Ali (14) and son Connor (8).
